The Ants Come Marching In

So I noticed a line of ants to my front door again today. They must be scoping things out for the coming change in weather. Here are a few options for natural ant remedies:

- Corn meal: Ants can't digest it, but they'll eat it, so leave some out where they congregate. They also avoid bay leaves, cayenne pepper, chalk, cinnamon and mint, so consider putting a mix in your pantry to keep the ants away

- Neem oil: it's stinky, so use it outside

- Bioganic Home & Garden Spray - made with clove, sesame, and thyme oils, it's safe around kids

- Put some soapy water or white vinegar in a spray bottle and zap at will. Spray some vinegar in the doorways to keep them from entering.
